Terms of Service

Effective September 24, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Bipsy. By creating an account you accept them. They are written to be read once and understood, which is why they are this short.

What Bipsy does

Bipsy reads your business's financial data, tells you what you are paying and to whom, compares it against published prices and benchmarks where they exist, and drafts messages — negotiations, cancellations, quote requests — for you to approve. It is software that does analysis and writes drafts. It is not a person acting on your behalf and it does not make decisions for you.

Your account

You need to be at least 18 and authorized to act for the business whose data you connect. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@trybipsy.com if you think someone else has access to it.

You may connect only accounts you own or are authorized to manage. Connecting someone else's financial accounts without their permission is a breach of these terms and likely of the law.

What it costs

Bipsy is free during its beta. After the beta it will be $99 per month, and you will be told by email before any charge — nothing converts to paid without you choosing to subscribe. Once subscribed, billing is monthly in advance, charged through Stripe, and renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. Partial months are not refunded, but if something went wrong — you were charged twice, or the service did not work — email us and we will sort it out.

If the price changes, you will be told by email at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.

Emails Bipsy writes for you

Bipsy drafts messages and puts them in front of you. Nothing is sent until you read it and click send, and when it is sent it goes out over your name and your email address. That means you are the author: you are responsible for the accuracy of what you send and for any commitment it makes. Read the draft before approving it. Bipsy is not a party to any agreement you reach with a vendor, and has no role in enforcing one.

Bipsy is not your advisor

Bipsy is not a licensed financial advisor, accountant, tax preparer, attorney, or broker, and nothing it produces is financial, tax, investment, or legal advice. It shows you your own numbers and what it can defend about them. The decisions remain yours, and for anything consequential you should talk to a professional who can take responsibility for the answer.

About the numbers

Bipsy labels each finding by how it knows: observed means it came from your own transactions; estimated means your data combined with a published rate or benchmark; modeled means a reasoned assumption. Estimated and modeled figures are exactly that — estimates — and savings Bipsy identifies are possibilities, not guarantees. Whether a vendor agrees to a lower price is up to the vendor.

Bipsy also depends on data from your bank, Plaid, Stripe, Square, and the statements you upload. If that data is incomplete or wrong, the analysis built on it will be too. Check anything before you act on it.

Acceptable use

Don't use Bipsy to break the law, to upload data you have no right to, to attack or probe the service, to resell or scrape it, or to send anyone harassing or deceptive messages through it. We may suspend an account that does.

Your data

Your data stays yours. Bipsy holds it to provide the service, and the Privacy Policy explains exactly what it holds and who processes it. You can export or delete all of it at any time from the Your data page. The software, design, and content of Bipsy itself remain ours.

Availability

We work to keep Bipsy running but do not promise it will be available without interruption, and it depends on third-party providers whose outages are outside our control. Features may change as the product develops.

Where responsibility ends

Bipsy is provided as is, without warranties of any kind beyond those the law does not let us disclaim. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bipsy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost savings, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as that jurisdiction permits.

Ending it

You can cancel or delete your account whenever you like, from inside the product. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why. When an account closes, the data handling in the Privacy Policy applies.

Changes and governing law

If these terms change materially, you will be told by email before the change takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California.
